Watercolour is a beautiful medium with many possibilities for your personal, creative expression. Gathering our inspiration from the botanicals in season, we will practice quiet observational drawing, with a focus on light, colour, transparency, form and finally composition.
Rowena will share watercolour techniques through demonstration, individual instruction and class discussions to release your personal response to paint in an intuitive manner.
Come spend an afternoon lost in art, in an inspiring, relaxed space surrounded by beautiful, seasonal botanicals. Rowena is a wonderful teacher who will guide us throughout the day as we explore the techniques of watercolour. This is a chance to unwind and engage your senses in the beauty of nature and art.
