This workshop is exciting, informative and challenging for both beginners and experienced painters alike. Watercolour techniques through demonstration, individual instruction and class discussions help to release your personal response to paint in an intuitive manner. Colour mixing, composition and still life are some of the topics addressed in this small lively and inspiring workshops. Aryn will start the workshops with an introduction to the flower botanicals that she works with.
All materials will be supplied. Tea, coffee and snacks provided with soup for lunch.
Rowena Dykins studied fine art at the School of Art & Design at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and Concordia University, Montreal. Her works are in the collections of the Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Station Gallery, Whitby and the Art Gallery of Peterborough. Dykins was chosen as an artist in residence at Pouch Cove, Newfoundland and more recently at ARTscape, Toronto Island. Rowena has been involved in teaching both adults and children for over 30 years.
