Fire Cider is a sweet and spicy infusion of roots and fruits. This is a pretty famous tonic that most herbalists make. Another wonderful Rosemary Gladstar recipe.
My Dad got me interested in this spicy concoction. He has done an amazing job of keeping himself healthy with natural food medicines and is quite an inspiration! He makes his own Cayenne tincture and “Vein Cleaner”, incredible soups … And for the last couple of years he has made Fire Cider. So, it’s really for him that I started making this.
Also known as the Master Tonic: a well known Cardio Tonic, Immune Stimulator (a shot of this stuff really kicks a cold in the but) and Plaque Remover, Fire Tonic is a great addition to your Herbal Home Pharmacy.
How To Take Fire Cider:
- As a daily cardiovascular and immune system tonic; take 5-15ml, 2-3 tiems per day.
- If you feel a cold coming on; take every couple of hours while symptoms are present.
- Use as a salad dressing, in a marinade or a flavour enhancer (like you would salt in soups, sauces and stews)
