Sweet Song Summer Cream goes on smooth and light. Making cream is one of my specialties and my Summer Cream really shows it. So many natural sun screens (although healthy choices) are so thick – they are hard to spread and they leave your skin so white. Sweet Song’s Summer Cream goes on like a light body butter and only leaves a hint of lightening (much the way foundation or cover-up’s do).
This all natural, unscented sun screen is made with food quality, certified organic oils and non-nano zinc oxide.
Zinc Oxide – creates a physical barrier to block the sun’s rays, reflecting and scattering UVA and UVB rays. It is the safest and most effective sun screen.
I have never been a big believer in sunscreen. My advice is; wear a hat, sit with your back to the sun and find some shade. Be responsible to make sure you and your children are getting up to 25 minutes a day in the sun and are absorbing as much sunlight as you can. Our bodies utilize the vitamin D from the sun’s rays for many vital functions in the body including the proper function of our immune system.
